"Not just yet" - that's what DFC's unionized employees are saying after yesterday's announcement that the insolvent lending institution would be liquidated.
A release from the Christian Workers Union DFC branch asks that government revisit ways in which the corporation can return to "it's core functions with strict adherence to lending policies that served us well in the past."
While that's the workers' plea it is a matter of wait and see for them as government is presses to salvage what little it can of a hemorrhaging financial institution that according to figures obtained by 7NEWS was losing $100,000 daily.
