So at the end of this newscast: this is the story BTL's employees have made a list of 5 demands. To repeat, these are:

1. They want government to transfer the 37% holding in btl to the employees, either to be conveyed as a gift or they are willing to pay one dollar for it.
2. They want a BTL employee on the board of directors.
3. They want full diclosure of all documents and contracts relating to BTL including the agreement with E com, the buyback agreement with Carlisle Holdings, and the agreements with ICC.
4. They want the daily operations of the company to continue to operate without interference from Ashcroft or Carlisle personnel but under the direction of current CEO Gaspar Aguilar.
5. And they want the audit inspection ordered by the Chief Justice to proceed for the period set out by the court.

They say they will not move from these demands until they are given this in writing by the Prime Minister. That makes for a tough Friday night for those who need to use a phone, because the Prime Minister and his entire Cabinet is right now preparing for a People's Assembly in Punta Gorda Town. His tour of Punta Gorda and Toledo opening bridges and the like we are told will continue until tomorrow afternoon. That means if you're expecting phone service back tonight, the prospects don't seem encouraging.

And that's where we are this evening it's a critical situation and one for which a resolution is in sight but certainly not at hand at least, not right now. We will continue to monitor it and continue to keep you informed.
