And with disaster preparations underway, the executive management of BTL has asked the Communication Workers Union to cease its work to rule so that it can proceed with disaster readiness plans. This afternoon, Union President Paul Perriot went into a meeting with management to discuss the temporary suspension of the work to rule. But Perriot went in with a list of demands that he wants the management to commit to before the work to rule is lifted. At newstime, there was no word on the result of that meeting.
