Cabinet Approves 25 Cent Increase in Price of Bread

The price of bread is going up, but not to two dollars. Cabinet met today and approved a 25 cent increase in the controlled price. The Bakers Association had asked for 50 cents but their position was weakened when Zebedee Pitterson from Sunnyside Bakery came out and said it only needed to go up by 25 cents. The new price is expected to go into effect tomorrow.
