Marjorie Carter was the lucky winner of Courts' $10, 000 shopping spree. By just purchasing one item at Courts in November, Marjorie was entered into the raffle and had a stroke of luck that would make even Santa envious. She was excited and emotional this morning to receive her gift certificate and select her items. We spoke with Grisel Carballo from courts about the shopping spree along with shopping-spree-Marjorie:

"This campaign was called Win the Ultimate Shopping Spree, its courtesy of Mabe and Courts. So, you win a $10,000 shopping spree at courts and it basically ran only a short series of time. The campaign started November 1st and it ended on November 30th."

"So that 10 thousand was only limited to Mabe products?"

Grisel CarballoÂ
"No, the ten thousand dollars is for anything in the store. So, whether you want to buy a Samsung, a Whirlpool, a Frigidaire, RadioShack items, anything. Cellphones, anything that you would want she will the chance to purchase."

"How do you feel about winning this prize?"

"Excited, happy."

"Tell us about when you got the call; I understand it was very emotional for you then."

Marjorie Carter
"Like now. It gives me cold seed. I'm very happy, though."

"This is a part of a winning streak. I understand."

Marjorie Carter
"Yes, Because I never won before like this."

Reporter
"Even though you won $10,000 to shop here, I understand that you are giving away some stuff to your kids and to your family. Talk to us about that."

Marjorie Carter
"Yeah, I gave to my sister my niece, my daughter, my son and the rest is for me."

Reporter
"Talk to us about some of the things that you are getting, that you are going to pick up."

Marjorie Carter
"My sister want a stereo, she get that. My niece want a flat screen TV, she get that. My son want a Playstation 4, he get that."

"And for you, what did you get?"

Marjorie Carter
"I bought me a sofa, a bed, mattress, bureau, microwave. Up to an iron."

"So, Christmas will be good for you this year?"

Marjorie Carter
"Yes."

There were actually two winners today. Sayuri Caretela was also the winner of a $3000 shopping spree at Courts. This shopping spree was courtesy of the T-shirt factory and Courts. We also spoke with Sayuri about her 3-G's spree:

"Well, as you know, T-shirt Factory is a well-known printing company that sells amazing T-shirts. And in September, we did a collaboration with T-shirt Factory and Courts, whereby whichever customer that purchased at T-shirt $25 and above, gets a chance to win a $3000 shopping spree at Courts. It was a collaboration and of course $2000 was from T-shirt Factory, $1000 from courts and together it was a partnership."
