That's just this situation one Belize City man found himself in when he used the winnings from a pair of $3 and $5 Scratch and Win tickets to buy another one.
Two days ago he stopped by our studio to tell us what he plans to do with the 21,000.00 prize.
Scratch Winner:
"I knew I won right because the game is like you are playing BINGO so I heard some guys from over there I told. Them I won so he took the ticket and went to the other chimney over so but I bought it by this side here and he told me I didn't win because he went to scan it. Electronic and I told him give me my ticket, I took the ticket and I went to the other chimney and the other chimney told me go to the office because the chimney knew that I won too so he told me go to the office and that is what I did."
Reporter:
"So now the age old question? What will you with your winnings?"
Scratch Winner:
"Well, first thing I am going to do is visit my sister that wants to put me out give she a money make she satisfy herself because she no hundred right now."
"Due to the boyfriend she got she married and ih no hundred so it's me who has to take care of her because her boyfriend all he do is gamble, gamble, gamble."

"And after that?"
Scratch Winner:
"After that I am going to take care of my home life, I'm going to buy whatever I need upstairs and the girlfriend that I have, she gotta go because last night she quarrelled with me, she went to a wake and came back to quarrel with me anytime she di do thing she quarrel, because I'm not doing anything, I only she I have, I don't have anybody else but she but she quarrel and go when ih want go da night, no with me, that can't work that is what I tell her I draw the bar there for her because long time. I lock her out she sleeps on the verandah I bring police for her she no gone no where, what does she want me to do give her my soul."

Scratch Winner:
"I won scratch the first time it came out $750 that was the first time I won scratch but these new ones that come out are just 20 30 but this. New one that came out the good lord was with me he knows I need help."
