And when we went to the streets of Belize City today - they knew all about price gouging. Here's how two regular guys put it:
Llewell Manuel, Local businesman
"Whatever price these people are selling things for. Who do we go to? Who visit there and check their prices? Some of those people don't even have price on their thing. Until you reach the counter you know what it cost. It's like a trick they are tricking you and when you reach the counter the thing cost much more than you may expect. I mean, come on."
"We need them to start get down on all the people that are selling and make them sell the things for a price where people could afford it."

Harry Longsworth, Local
"We hope Mr. Musa, Mr. Billy Musa and Brodies would donate. Some oats, a sack of oats, a sack of rice, or a sack of beans for the poor people in Belize. Down town. We nuh hear nothing bout Pantry. What the go on with PUP. Well, we need your prayers. All of us have to pray. All of us have the prayer because this thing could still turn around you know."
