Tonight, thousands of Belize Bank users are becoming increasingly desperate as they continue to be unable to access their online banking accounts. According to the bank, on Thursday, they initiated a process to enhance the self-service features of their credit card product offerings. But- the bank says - the migration process impacted the operation of their digital banking platform. However, they said that since yesterday, both their online banking and mobile app resumed operations.
And while that's what the bank says, regular folks tell us that their online accounts have been acting up since Wednesday - and as of this news reading - they still cannot get into their accounts to access their funds, make transfers, pay bills etcetera. It's a major headache on the last day of the month - and while we asked the bank when people can expect to get access to their money - the bank would only say that its new credit card features will be fully accessible by Monday.
