JUST IN: Scooter and Car Collide in Belama

And while one of teams was returning from that terrible fatality on the Western Highway, at 5 this evening our other team was called out to the Belama area for the scene of another accident. The accident occurred beside the Biltmore Hotel on the street that runs from the highway into Belama Phase Two. It appears that a motor scooter turning from the Belama area unto the Northern Highway ran head onto into a car that had just turned off the highway. It appeared that the scooter was in the motor vehicle's lane. The scooter was extensively damaged as was the vehicle. The driver of the motor scooter appeared to have survived and was rushed to the KHMH where his status is unknown. We'll follow up on this story in Monday's newscast.
