Police have charged the teenager who they say shot 28-year-old Collet area resident Troy Trapp near his West Canal home last night. Around 7:30 last night, Trapp was standing at the corner of West and Plues Streets when a young man he knew as Egbert Arnold walked up to him, pulled out a handgun. Trapp ran to the canal side and that's when the gunman opened fire. Fortunate for Trapp, in a spray of shots, he was only grazed to his side. He was treated for minor injuries and released. 19-year-old Arnold has been charged for attempted murder, wounding and use of deadly means of harm.
