15 Years for San Pedro Chain Snatcher

Last night we told you about the San Pedro chain snatcher who ripped a chain from around a 5 year old's neck. Well 24-year-old Honduran Juan Martinez will have a lot of time to think about his crime. Yesterday in the San Pedro Magistrate's Court he pleaded guilty to three counts of robbery which resulted from three separate chain snatchings which occurred over the course of a week. Magistrate Earl Jones sentenced him to 5-year each robbery. The sentences are to run consecutively, which means, Martinez will be in prison for 15 years.
