A teenager was murdered last night in Belize City. 19-year-old Kevin Arnold was killed on Armadillo Street and tonight police aren't saying who wanted him dead or why. We were on Armadillo Street today searching for answers. Here's what we found.
Keith SwiftReporting,
It is here on Armadillo Street that 19-year-old Kevin Arnold was riding a bicycle around 8 pm last night when he was approached by a gunman from behind who opened fire. The gunman let loose with a hail of gunfire and five of them hit Kevin Arnold. He received multiple shots on his back and left leg. He stood no chance and was pronounced dead on arrival at the KHMH. His cousin Michelle Sedacy says Kevin was like a brother to her.
Michelle Sedacy, Cousin of Murder Victim
"Me and Kevin were very close. We were like brother and sister and we actually grew up together and he just turned 19 and they said he got shot by Los Cocos. I don't know for what and for what reason but I would just want them to find the person who killed him and why they did it because Kevin is my cousin and also my brother in one."
The family says Kevin lived in Belmopan but he was here in Belize City to attend a party. He never made it to that party.
Michelle Sedacy,
"He wasn't a bad man. He didn't go out much. He would go if it was a

house party if he is invited and all of his friends know that. They all hang right through the alley at our house on North Front Street and sit down in the park. They don't go anywhere else and then to make them do him this, I don't think it is fair."
And now Michelle Sedacy and her family want justice for Kevin Arnold.
Michelle Sedacy,
"My poor cousin died for no reason at all and I don't think it is fair. I would want the person right now who did it, that someone dies for them just like this. I want them to feel the suffering I am feeling right now and what my mom and my people are feeling to lose my cousin like this and my brother because he is like a brother to me and we all grew up in one neighborhood and this is really terrible for we right now. I miss him more than anything because right now if anything would happen to me, my cousin would be there for me. He would be there and for them to do this to him, I can't handle it. It is hurting me."
A post mortem on Kevin Arnold is scheduled for Wednesday.
