Benjamin Belisle Stole 9 CDs from Street Vendor

And while those gunmen are at large, an alert police constable did catch a petty thief in the act. Yesterday afternoon. Constable Marlon Martinez saw 53-year-old Benjamin Belisle snatch a handful of CDs from this street vendor, Kareem Gasham in front of Ro-Mac's.

Martinez set chase and took Belisle into police. He still had the 9 CDs and DVDs in his hand and was charged for theft. This morning he went before Magistrate Albert Hoare where his 4 previous convictions were noted. He pleaded guilty to theft and was sentenced to two years in prison. Gasham told us that he just hopes to get his CDs back. He said Belisle has been a repeated nuisance to the open-air vendors in the area.
