Cayo police have also arrested Anthony Roches for the attempted murder of three police officers. The officers were shot during a war behind two rival gangs in the twin towns in early August. 17-year-old Marvin Echevarria was shot and killed and it was while police were at that murder scene that they came under fire. Sergeant Miguel Aldana who is the Commander of the CIB in Cayo was at that scene and a bullet graced him on his left foot. He says a thorough investigation led them to Anthony Roches.
