Two of the 4 prisoners who sawed their way out of the Max-Medium Section of the Hattieville Prison a week ago are tonight back in jail. Terry Bainton was captured on Sunday during a raid of a house on Antelope Street. Today a second prisoner, Rupert Manzanero surrendered to police with his family. Manzanero reportedly has attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
Both Manzanero and Bainton will be charged with escape. Bainton has been additionally charged with burglary based on a report from Rhoda Duncan of 7 and three quarter mile on the Stann Creek Valley Road. She told police that on Thursday Bainton broke into her home and ransacked the place. Nothing was stolen. Manzanero was serving time for burglary.
That leaves Allan Cal and Gilbert Requena still on the run. Both were serving time for manslaughter.
