13 Year Old Alleges She was Abducted & Raped

A 13-year-old has told Corozal Police that she was raped but investigators are looking closely at the case before bringing charges. In the presence of her mother, the child told police that on Sunday morning she was selling johnny cakes in the Alta Mira area when a man in a white pickup pulled up to her, abducted and raped her, and when he was finished, dropped her back in an area near her home.

And while a doctor’s report has confirmed that the child has been sexually active, police aren’t sure that the details in the story all add up and are investigating it - we are told – cautiously.
