Yesterday afternoon, police busted 30 year old Marlon Budran, with a Loaded 9 milimeter pistol. Police say that yesterday at about 2:50 p.m., they were on mobile patrol on Freetown Road when they spotted Budran and another man riding on separate bicycles. According to police, when the men spotted them, they turned around and that made police become suspicious and they chased after the two men.
Budran rode behind the farmer’s market and was seen hiding behind a parked vehicle. A search of the area led police to the discovery of a 9 mm pistol loaded with 7 live rounds. Budran appeared before Magistrate Ed Usher in court #7 where he was charge with keeping unlicensed firearm and ammunition. Because of the nature of the offense, Budran was denied bail and remanded to the Hattieville Prison until January 27.
