Police found almost fifty pounds of weed, an AK47 an assault rifle, a nine mm pistol along with two live rounds of 9mm ammunition when they searched a home and an adjoining property yesterday. They say that 24 year old Micka Lee Williams is responsible for twenty-three pounds of the stash because it was found in a bucket in the bathroom at his Raccoon Street extension home.
Police also searched another property behind his one, where they found an additional eleven kilos of marijuana – which is 24 pounds - along with a 9 mm pistol and two live rounds. While police were able to charge Williams with drug trafficking for the 23 pounds allegedly found in his bathroom, that’s the extent of it, because the remaining eleven kilograms along with the AK 47, the “9” and the ammunition are considered found property.
This morning, Williams was arraigned before the Chief Magistrate where he pleaded not guilty to one count of drug trafficking. He was offered bail of eight thousand dollars and met it.
