Woman Abducted, Robbed, & Almost Raped

A woman was abducted and her gun stolen on Friday night. The 23 year old - whose name we won’t release because there was an attempted rape - told police that between 9 and 10 on Friday night she was on St. Thomas Street walking towards her vehicle when a man grabbed her from behind and placed a knife to her neck.

He forced her inside her car and drove her up the Northern Highway to a deserted area near lord’s bank. There he searched the vehicle and found her licensed 9 milimeter gun. He then dragged her out of the car and into nearby bushes where he attempted to rape her.

A Hispanic man who heard the noise went to her rescue and was able to scare off the suspect who fled with the gun. Police are investigating.
