Popular clothing store Domino on Cemetery Road was robbed at gunpoint in broad daylight this afternoon. It’s notable for a few reasons: first, the clothing store was robbed at gunpoint as recently as last week and had been burglarized a few weeks back. Second, it happened on cemetery road around 4:20 pm – a very busy area with a lot of traffic.
And third, the proprietor put up one heck of a fight. Two young men, one masked walked into the store, which has multiple security cameras, with a gun and took the laptop. One of them also clutched her by the throat and she grabbed a nearby hammer and struck him in the shoulder.
That sent him dashing out of the store – but the other one had the laptop. So far police have not made any arrests and are reviewing the security tapes.
