Stray Bullet Injures Gerald Eagan

Yesterday evening at 6:50, a man was shot on Cemetery Road. 44 year old Gerald Eagan appears to have been a blameless victim of street violence. From what police have been able to find out, Eagan was standing inside the yard of Magic Fingers, which is across from Extra House when two men ran by – one of them chasing the other with a gun. The one being chased pulled out a gun and fired 3 shots into the yard, two of them hit Eagan in his abdomen. The gun man then slipped away behind extra house. Eagan is reported in a stable condition at the KHMH – but when we checked the hospital today we couldn’t find him there.
