Muddy's Robber Pleads Guilty

Last week we told you about Modesto Madrill, the local wine maker who fearlessly wielded a machete to fight off teenaged armed robbers. Well tonight, one of these young men he repelled is going to serve time in jail. 19-year-old Ronald Flowers who has been in the hospital recovering from the multiple chop wounds Madrill inflicted on him, pleaded guilty to the charge of attempted robbery and was sentenced to the minimum jail term of 5 years. He’s seen here in this picture with multiple bandages covering the various chop wounds he received.

Flowers, who police originally reported as 17, was the one who snuck into he side of the shop while another young man held Madrill up at gunpoint. That other man ahs still not been caught.
