Police haven’t arrested and still aren’t releasing the name of the driver who knocked down and killed Roldan Trapp on the Northern Highway on Saturday night. Around 9 that night the 40 year old father of five was on his bike riding towards Ladyville when a red Ford Ranger – being driven very recklessly according to eyewitnesses – ran him over. Trapp and his bike were launched into the air – and he was found some 50 yards from the mangled bicycle. The Ford Ranger sped off but was recovered 24 hours later and showed signs of major impact. Ladyville Police say they believe the driver is hiding but they are still refusing to release his name.
