Caledonia’s Cane

A drunken brawl in Caledonia village on Sunday morning pitted one brother against two others.

At 2:00 am 22 year old Carlos Ico first started fighting with his 34 year old brother Jesus Pook on a street in Caledonia. Another brother Jose Ico heard the ruckus outside his yard and saw his brother fighting. He tried to stop them but Carlos Ico, apparently drunk, turned on Jose with a machete and chopped his right hand, cutting off three of his fingers.

Police have charged Carlos Ico for maim.
