The burglar occurred around 2:30 in the afternoon of May 18 2009 when he was seen removing some louvers from the residence of Dorla Humes on Ebony Street. The neighbour then saw him slide into eh window and shortly after left with a stuffed bag in his hand. That neighbour pursed Davis and flagged down a police on a motorcycle to capture him on Central American Boulevard.
All the stolen items were recovered. They included an iron, 2 bottles of perfume, one tin of corned beef, two tubes of toothpaste and one bottle of 7 seas syrup. Not quite a King’s Ransom but the habitual criminal will serve 6 years for it.
