And apparently the gun-wielding robbers were all over this afternoon. There was an armed robbery at the Texaco Gas Station on Central American Boulevard a few hours after the Albert Street incident. The robbers left empty handed but every second of the brazen broad daylight incident was caught on camera. Keith Swift has that story.

Keith Swift Reporting,
At 2:10, the first camera captured the two robbers in the distance on bicycles approaching the gas station from the direction of Central American Boulevard. They casually rode onto the compound and to the gas pump where they were met by the gas attendant.

One robber jumped off his bike and accosted the attendant while the other pulled out a gun but remained on his bike. They reportedly told the attendant to: “hand over his money.”

But this video shows that the attendant didn’t. In fact he ran and chased by one of the robbers- while the gunman remained on his bike and cautiously followed.

Switch to camera two and you can see that they chased the attendant where there was a crowd. That is why if you switch back to camera 1, you can see the two robbers returning to their bikes and fleeing the gas station in the direction of Banak Street. They left empty handed.

Again nothing was stolen and apart from being a bit rattled, the gas station attendant we are told is okay. Police believe the robbers – both described as young men – are from the Banak Street area.
