32 year old Giovanni Lauriano – his name has been often called as a suspect in high profile crimes, but is rarely charged and even when he is, the charges don’t stick. But now police claim that they caught Lauriano known as Nose with an unlicensed firearm yesterday. Well, it wasn’t really with a firearm because police say he threw it into an open lot before they could find him.
Around 9:00 last night, acting on information received Police went to the Novelo’s Bus Terminal where they saw Luriano in a BBDOC bus with a handgun on his side. Police tried to search him but the wily Luriano started to struggle with them and managed to break free. He ran out of the terminal – police say with gun in hand. He allegedly threw the gun into an open lot on Gibnut Street.
Police captured him a short time after and took him back to Gibnut Street where they recovered an Austria Brand 9 milimeter pistol loaded with a magazine containing 18 live rounds. He was charged for possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition.
