There have been two murder sin the city this week and the news tonight is that police expect to press charges for both of them shortly. Lead Investigator Inspector Sinquest Martinez confirmed this evening that key suspects in both cases are presently detained and advised that we should look out for arrests tomorrow.
The killing of Peter Myvett around noon yesterday is a compelling case because police are looking into the possibility that he was executed because he is a witness in the grenade attack on Kraal Road of December of 2009. Our sources say that Myvette had given a statement saying that implicating Lusby Martinez as the man who threw the grenade. On the strength of that statement, Martinez was charged for the murder of 14 year old Rudolph Flowers – who was killed when the grenade exploded beside him.
In the other murder case, Police will also bring charges for the murder of Security Guard Kaluru Olungududu – who was stabbed to death on Monday Morning.
