It made big news in March when 31 year old taxi driver Moises Williams was charged with trafficking 676 grams of heroin - that's over a pound of one of the most deadly drugs in the world.
But those charges were withdrawn yesterday in court, after a chemist from the National Forensic Department certified that it wasn't heroin.
Williams, who resides on Mahogany Street, was busted with the alleged heroin on Friday March 19th, while in his green taxi van parked in front of McKesey Meats. The police searched the van and found the substance in a black plastic bag wrapped up in transparent tape, hidden under the driver's seat. Williams reportedly told police that a woman gave him the substance to deliver as part of a sale.
