Last night we told you about Robert Mejia who was remanded for the aggravated assault of his baby's mother.
His family told us they felt his life was under threat in the prison because his baby's mother's mother is a senior warden there.
Well today that baby mother Missellina Usher came to our newsroom to say it's ridiculous that he would be talking about threats when she was the one who had a gun pointed at her through the window of her bedroom:....

"When I look up this man have the gun actually half way in the window pointed at me. I didn't know what to do when I see that gun. I just got on the phone and told the police to please hurry because the man has a gun. The police came, but they did not find him because he already went already. At that time I was trembling, I woke up my baby and the little girl and I told them to come outside. The thing that pisses me off Jules is that this man willing to point a gun at me, he doesn't care about his daughter. He told me that if I know that I make him go to jail, he told me that I got 3 months to live and he swore on his mother's grave. I told him well, that gives me 3 months to enjoy my life. That is what I told him. He told me that he will find me and that I will be a dead woman. He said don't make me go to jail. I am in fair of my life because
even though he is at jail, I still don't feel safe at all because he is somebody that when he wants to get something done he will get it done. I am the victim; I don't know how he becomes the victim. I don't want any vengeance, I just want justice and I want to sleep in peace again. I want to lay my head on my pillow without knowing that somebody will come at my window to shoot me."
Usher also claims her house was shot up over twenty two times.
Mejia is remanded him into custody until October 6th.
