At around 4:30 this afternoon there was an accident in the always congested area near the Belcan bridge. It wasn't serious and luckily no one was hurt, but it could have been very serious.

A man on a motorcyle was almost crushed when a bus turned abruptly in front of him. They were both heading towards Belcan Bridge with the cycle alongside the bus where he couldn't see the indicator.

The bus turned into St. Jude street when and the back wheel of the bus clipped the side of the motorbike causing the rider and the bike to crash to the ground.

The bus dragged the motor cyclist for a few feet before the bus driver realized what had happened. He got some scratches on his hands and leg but it could have been very much worse.
