Fire Man Shot

A fireman was shot on Saturday morning inside the city's southside fire station. It happened at about 2:50am when a man wearing a black rag over his face walked inside the station's reception area, approached 25 year old Evan Martinez, the Fireman on duty and pointed a handgun at his face.

Martinez held the man's arm, and they started to struggle which was when a shot was fired. It grazed the bunk bed in a back room, injuring fireman Kendis Longsworth who was in a room next to the office with other Fire Department personnel. The man managed to dash out of the office along with another man.

28 year old Longsworth, 28yrs, was wounded to the upper part of his shoulder.
