The girl's mother, 49 year old Mae Bush got into an argument with Guerra that turned into a fist fight between Guerra and Bush's boyfriend. During that struggle Bush allegedly stabbed Guerra in his lower ribcage. He died shortly after. His brother told us he doesn't know what the dispute was about.

"All I know that they say that he was in an altercation with this lady and her husband and a third person who we don't know who it is yet. I talk to some witnesses who told me that they don't know who started it but according to what I hear is that the lady husband is supposed to grab him by the hair and the other man grab him and the lady just came and stab him."

"Still we dent have a clear answer to what happen but I would really want the police to tell us what is happening. What we understand is that they chance this man. They chance him out of his life. According to witnesses he told the police that he got stab and that he wanted to go to the hospital but for some reason it looks like they weren't paying him any mind. And according to one eye witness who is one of my family says that my brother was leaving on his bike and the police stop him and take away the bike and threw it on a side. He told them that he got hurt and he wanted the police to take him to the hospital. The eye witness say that my brother stayed there bleeding at least for half hour before they throw him at the back of the pickup."
49 year old Mae Bush was arraigned on a single charge of murder and was remanded to prison. Police flatly denied that Guerra was made to wait 20 minutes before they took him to the hospital. They say He was taken to the hospital 5 minutes after the police arrived at Yan Zhao restaurant.
Police have recovered what they believe to be the murder weapon, a pocket knife with a six inch blade which they allegedly took from Mae Bush's hand.
