Twenty year old Sidney Fermin, an unemployed of St Paul's Bank who allegedly touched the thigh of a 28 year old woman, was charged with aggravated assault when he appeared today in the Magistrate's Court. He pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Magistrate Dorothy Flowers offered him a bail of two thousand dollars and adjourned his case until August 26. The incident occurred on Saturday July 9th at St Paul's Bank. The woman reported to the police that she was awakened from sleep by someone caressing her thighs. She said when she looked she saw that it was Fermin.
