That killing happened at Gwen Liz - and three hours later, two blocks away, another male was shot - this one a minor. It happened at the corner of Vernon and Partridge Streets at around 9:00 when 17 year old John Pasqual was shot, right in front of the St. Martin's De Porres Church.

"Jim we are not ruling out the possibilities but like I said we have to establish first of all the motive in Pascuals' shooting. So far what Pascual has told the investigators is that he was just riding on Vernon Street when he saw someone that he knows that goes by
the name "Kevo" riding behind him and "Kevo" just took out a firearm and open fire on him injuring him. So we wouldn't know what motivated "Kevo" to do this and we are looking for him also with connection with this incident, so in both cases we know exactly who we are looking for - the actual assailants and as soon as we get them we will be able to say whether these shootings are connected or if they are isolated cases."
Pascual was treated and released from the hospital….
