There may be a gang truce, but police work continues in the wake of the events of Friday August 26th on George Street. A third person has been charged in connection with the conflict between members of the George Street Gang and members of the Gang Suppression Unit.

He is 29 year old Leonard Myers a.k.a. Ghost. Myers was charged with assaulting a police officer and using obscene language. Myers was arraigned in the Magistrate's Court.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges. He was released on a bail of $750.00 and his case was adjourned until October 18. Detective constable Phillips, a member of the GSU reported that Myers assaulted him and used obscene language. On Monday, August 29, Carlos Abraham and Gerald "Shiny" Tillett were charged.
