In April, it made big news when 53 year old businessman, James "Raindrops" Swan was arrested by the GSU for keeping an extended clip without a license.
It made major scenery as the GSU paraded Swan and his family members out of their home at eleven on a weekday morning - wearing cuffs - and placed them in the back of a police truck.
Well, after all that, the charge was dismissed today in the #5 Magistrate's Court. That happened because the case was set for trial today and Sawn had not received disclosure - which was to have been given to him fourteen days ago.
Swan was represented by attorney Ellis Arnold. At the time, the GSU reported that they found Swan's licensed 9 millimeter pistol with an extended clip for which Swan did not have a license.
