Moon Grocery is on the northside in the nice residential area of Coral Grove - and because of that, it's a full walk in grocery, where there are no burglar bars separating the customer and the cashier or the groceries.
But for the second thieves have preyed upon that open-ness and robbed the store. On Saturday night, around 8:45 on Saturday night manager Lin Yun Xiang, was inside his store when 3 men - all wearing stockings over their faces - entered the store.
One of the men was armed with a silver firearm and pointed it at him- and demanded him to lie on the ground. He did, and that was when the assailants proceeded to rob him of his cellular phone, wallet, laptop computer and five hundred dollars in cash from the cash register. No one was hurt and police continue to investigate.
