On Tuesday evening around 4:30 police visited an area in August Pine Ridge Village in the Orange Walk District - where they saw the body of 26 year old Nelsi Chuc in a pool of blood with a gunshot wound to her neck.
Chuc who is a wife and a mother of a 7 year child, was exercising along with a friend near a cane field when a man known to them as Freddy Amir Blanco approached her.
It is said that Blanco had an obsession over Chuc and when he came up to her, hard words were exchanged - and Blanco reportedly told her quote, " if she is not for him, she will be for nobody else".
Chuc and her friend continued their exercise routine and when they were heading back, Blanco once again approached her, pulled out a gun and shot her in the neck. Chuc died on the spot. We understand that Chuc had moved to the village only a year ago with her husband and child and became neighbors with Blanco.
Police are investigating...
