Charges Against Students Dropped

Two charges of theft against 4 students of Maud Williams High School, two adults and two minors, were dismissed today in the Magistrate's Court.

The adults are 21 year old Jamal Belisle and 19 year old Harold Ortiz.

The minors are a 17 year old boy and a 16 year old boy. Magistrate Dorothy Flowers dismissed the charges after the principal of the school testified that she does not want any further court action.

The theft occurred on February 16, 2010. It was alleged that Ortiz and the minors stole one laptop computer while Belisle and the minors stole another laptop computer.
