On Monday, we told you that 31 year-old Taxi Driver Albert Castro had been shot early that morning. Well, police believe that another taxi man was the shooter, and tonight, he's at Belize Central Prison.

He's 37 year-old Frank Brown, and he was arraigned today before Magistrate Herbert Panton on charges of attempted murder, use of deadly means of harm, and dangerous harm. No plea was taken, and due to the nature of the offence, he couldn't be granted bail. He was remanded to prison, and he will be brought back to court on August 19.

As we reported, Castro was driving his green Mazda taxi on Faber's Road at around 3 a.m. on Monday. He was in the company of a 26 year-old woman, and that's when a gunman ambushed them and fired several shots at the car. Castro suffered 2 injuries to the head. He remains in the critical condition at the KHMH's Intensive Care Unit.
