No Bail For Rhavin, Yet

A 19 year old Crooked Tree fisherman didn’t get his bail application heard in court today because a man’s life hangs in the balance.

27 year old Elton Baiza is still the in the Intensive Care Unit and is on life support at the KHMH - after he was attacked and severely beaten, in Crooked Tree on April 7th. Â

Rhavin Gillett was one of the two men accused of beating him up and the teenager was remanded for attempted murder last week Friday. Â

His attorney Leeroy Banner applied for bail today but asked for the hearing to be adjourned because of Baiza’s precarious medical condition. Â

So, the next bail hearing is set for May 9th..
