A BDF soldier was caught on camera being manhandled by police - but what you see is only half the story. Â
Police say the 21 year old volunteer soldier Ryan Santos had been in a fight with a civilian. It happened on a Westline bus passing Ontario Village shortly before 7:35 a.m. this morning when Santos allegedly punched 21-year-old Nigel Reyes in the face.Â
That’s when SPU officers got involved - and took the soldier off the bus at mile 55 to subdue him. Â
Reyes received injuries to his right eye which were later certified as harm.Â
Santos was later charged with the crime of harm.Â
