37-year-old Kevaugh Wade was murdered last night at the entrance to Punta Gorda town.
Reports are that around 7:45, Wade WAS hit by five bullets and left to bleed out in the arms of a friend.
And that's how the cops found him shortly before he was rushed to the Punta Gorda Hospital, but it was already too late, Kevaugh was declared dead on arrival at 8:10.
It's a tragedy foretold by the victim himself and tonight with images courtesy of PGTV Cherisse Halsall brings you the story of Kevaughn Wade's demise.
This is the chair Kevaughn Wade was sitting in when he was targeted by a masked gunman dressed in black.
Wade received a shot to the right side of his chest and one to the chin. He is said to have been bleeding profusely by the time the cops arrived on the scene.
And while Kevaugh couldn't have known the place or the hour, he predicted his death when he spoke to us in 2018. At the time he was a witness in the murder of Mario Vernon the third.

"I am a witness for Mario. See him there [the officer] talking about he will kill me. If I die, you will get charged. You promise you will kill me. Say it again. Because I am a witness to Mario, these officers are chancing me. They want to protect me because I am a witness - he wants to kill me because I am a witness. Leave me alone officer. It was I who told the officer that Mario was back there. If I had known that officer was going to kill Mario, I wouldn't have told him where he was. Every time he meets me he talks about how he wants to kill me - no man."
But it wasn't the police who killed Kevaughn, it was a masked man - whose identity and motive are a mystery tonight.
Wade was the father of 9.
Police have no suspects at this time.
