A “John Doe” Washed Up in Placencia

Another John Doe, who police only know as "Elias", was found on the shores of the Placencia Lagoon today around 11:30am. The body was dressed in a red shirt and white short pants. Investigation shows that around 8:30 this morning, "Elias" was seen by his roommate getting into a canoe and heading across the lagoon into Placencia Village. He was seen again three hours later paddling back across the lagoon when the canoe reportedly capsized, causing him to drown. There were no signs of injuries on the body.
