City Councillor escaped injury, extended detention and criminal charges when he was involved in a shooting back in May. But, he has lost his gun license as a consequence. The Commissioner of police today confirmed that he has revoked Goodin's license and the one held by his associate, Tarique James. Both had 9 millimeter pistols and carried those weapons on the of May 14th when they got into a misunderstanding with Traffic Warden Kenyon Tillett while leaving a nightclub in the area of Newtown Barracks. Shots were fired on both sides - with one of the bullets smashing the rear window of Goodin's vehicle and injuring his passenger, youth shadow councillor Tae Medina.

We understand that Kenyon Tillet's gun license has also been revoked. And while both he and James are accused of discharging their firearms in public, Goodin was not accused of that.

But, the commissioner has taken the decision to revoke his license due to his overall involvement in the incident. In mid-June, both he and James got letters requiring them to "show cause" as to why their gun licenses should be revoked.
