On July 21st, the Office Manager at Go Wireless reported that on the 5th July, 2022 a stock 100 Cellular Samsung AO3 Cell Phones was shipped to Belize through Hydes Shipping. But, Go Wireless learned that a box of 20 phones was missing when it was cleared at the port of Belize.
And today former port employee Cecil Price was charged for theft of the 20 cell phones.
He was arraigned in the court of Magistrate Tricia Pitts Anderson on a single charge of theft.
The allegation is that Price was caught on surveillance camera stealing a box of 21 Black Samsung Brand cellphones from a Hyde shipping package belonging to police officer Tanya Ayuso.
But today Price who was unrepresented pleaded not guilty to the charge and was granted bail in the sum of $3,000 which he was able to meet.
Price's next court date is set for September 7, 2022.
