And Pascascio's assault on Gill can be compared to Officer Devon Makin pistol whipping Ryan Melendez back in July. Makin was never charged and in fact, the ComPol defended his godson then, and continued to do so today.

He said that the comparison is apples and oranges since Pascascio wasn't on duty. Here's what he told us when we asked him about the possible correlation between the two incidents:

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"You all in love with Makin or something?"

Courtney Menzies:
"Sir, we would love to see him face some sort of penalty."

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"Is it you or Jules who loves Makin? I hope it's you."

Courtney Menzies:
"We love justice, sir."

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"You can't compare the issue with Makin and the one with Pascascio. It's like comparing apples and oranges. Sergeant Makin was responding to a complain from two minors who have complained to him of being assaulted by a group of people. Pascascio incident, he was not working. He was responding to his feelings of jealousy, how can you compare the two? We have to be fair and call things for what they are and not to try to twist a story for our own aggrandizement. It doesn't make sense."

Courtney Menzies:
"But when you don't charge-."

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"I say no more on that."
