Untitled Document Earlier this week you heard from Sheila Williams who explained that her brother in law, Jamaican national Christopher McIntire, was refused entry into Belize and then roughed up by police officers. McIntire claimed he didn't do anything that warranted the police to assault him.

Well, the ComPol says he's putting on an act. He explained that the ordeal was caught on camera - which the police department released late this evening along with a press release that said quote, "The investigation revealed that the allegations of assault and mistreatment were unsubstantiated. The CCTV footage corroborated the officers' accounts, demonstrating their professional, reasonable, and proportionate actions." End quote.

The ComPol narrated what happens in the video - and he says he hopes the public that was quick to condemn the cops will apologize after seeing it.

However, McIntire's attorney, Norman Rodriguez, said quote, "The allegation is that he was dragged into the room and that is where he was slapped and punched. That has not been refuted by these videos or defended either." End quote.

He also asks whether there is footage of what happened in the room.
