A dispute between brothers escalated into a chopping and then murder.
Romano Cal is in the morgue and while his brother Rafael is police custody.
It happened in Medina Bank village Toledo District last night, and the victim is said to be the village alcalde.
Police gave us more details on the fatal chopping.

"On Sunday May 25th 2025 at approximately 8:10Pm acting upon information police proceeded to a residence in that village where the motionless body of Romano Cal 50 years old was observed. The body exhibited apparent chop wound to the upper part of the body the scene was processed and he was transported to the Punta Gorda Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival the matter is currently under investigation and police are seeking Mr Rafael Cal who is the relative of Mr Roman Cal."
"No motive has been ascertained thus far."
